Kim-Dung Mai, MSN, RN, CMSRN

Founder & President

Kim-Dung Mai, MSN, RN, CMSRN, serves as President of AAPINA of Texas and as the organization's founding leader. As a visionary nurse leader, she is committed to elevating AAPI nurses and nursing students, strengthening representation in healthcare, and advancing the health and well-being of AAPI communities across Texas.

She is also the founder of the Angie Pham Scholarship, established in honor of her grandmother, whose quiet strength and dedication made a lasting impact on the community. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to a nursing student, continuing her grandmother’s legacy of service and commitment to the well-being of others.

Through her leadership, she continues to champion mentorship, advocacy, and culturally responsive care. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in nursing, further advancing her impact in leadership and health equity.

Tram Le, MSN, RN

President-Elect

Tram Le, MSN, RN, serves as the President-Elect of AAPINA of Texas. In this role, she supports the organization’s mission to advance AAPI nurses and nursing students while preparing to lead future strategic initiatives.

Tram Le is committed to fostering leadership development, strengthening community engagement, and promoting the health and well-being of AAPI communities across Texas.

Kathrine Lim, MSN, RN

Secretary

Kathrine Lim, MSN, RN, is the Secretary of AAPINA of Texas and a dedicated nurse leader committed to supporting organizational excellence and collaboration.

Through her role, she helps strengthen communication, streamline operations, and support initiatives that advance AAPI nurses, nursing students, and community health across Texas.

Linda Duong, BSN, RN

Treasurer

Linda Duong, BSN, RN, serves as Treasurer of AAPINA of Texas. In this role, she oversees the organization’s financial management and supports responsible stewardship of resources to advance its mission.

She is committed to supporting AAPI nurses and nursing students while promoting the health and well-being of AAPI communities across Texas.
